Hello Friend,
One of the most interesting and compelling stories that Jesus told in the New Testament, is that of the Good Samaritan, found in Luke 10:25-37.
It is an amazing account of who passed by the man that had been robbed, beaten, and left for dead. The Samaritan was the only one who stopped to help. All the others, when they saw the man who had been left for dead, they passed by on the other side of the road.
All too often it is easy to move to the other side of the road, look the other way and do nothing. Sometimes we do not even see the need. Many times we are simply too busy. Jesus asks us to reach out like The Good Samaritan, with kindness and compassion and give help to those who are down and hurting.
