Happy 4th of July from Feeding The Nations!
We are so grateful for the freedoms that living in this nation affords and we’re thankful to the men and women who have fought so we can enjoy these freedoms. Freedoms that many around the world sadly do not have.
We are a blessed nation with ready access to grocery stores, farmer’s markets, even 1 hour or less grocery delivery to our doors. We have freedom of choice, freedom to choose organic or conventional produce, ice cream or a candy bar, salad, fresh fruit, veggies. We can even choose from at least 5 different milk options at any given grocery store.
The mother in Malawi has choice too, she chooses whether to leave her children alone for hours at a time to beg at a neighboring village, or she can watch her children go hungry.
The mother in Haiti has the difficult choice of letting her child work to help the family buy food or attend school for the chance of a better future.
Thankfully when you donate to Feeding The Nations, mothers in Haiti and Malawi don’t have to choose between school and begging or sending their children to work.
When you donate to Feeding The Nations, your generosity enables children to stay in school during the school year and attend summer programs during the school recess and receive nutricious meals.
The ministries we work with on the ground not only provide education, but each child receives a nutritious meal. The families of these children who face food insecurity, sometimes on a daily basis, are also helped.
Problems are complex, and no one solution, or one person can solve them all, but we can all do something.
Thank you for your generosity, thank you for your prayers. Please consider becoming a monthly partner. Your donation helps support ongoing projects, like school programs. You can donate using the link below, or text myftn and the dollar amount to 28950. Thank you.
