Last fall we told you that our friends and partners in Afghanistan were out of food. Over the past few years, we have quietly sent over 1.5 million meals to the nation, but as the war rages on, more help, more food, more love is needed. We asked for an outpouring of love and support, and thanks to your response, food has arrived.
We just received word that the food we sent has been distributed to families, children and widows in need. This food was distributed despite the dangerous situation our partners faced and the Word of God was shared with people who live in the remote areas that receive very little support.
Below are a few photos from the distribution. They are just a sampling of the people who received the tangible gift of Christ’s love. Pray for these people. Pray for all those who are living in this war zone. And, we pray that we will be able to continue to find ways to get nourishment to those who need it most.
