While the Ukraine has been in the news a lot lately due to difficult political times in the nation, today we celebrate some good news. Feeding the Nations received a mission update from Heart to Heart Ministries. We have worked within the Ukraine for several years and recently provided funds to purchase and provide those in need with rice, beans, cereal, sugar, cooking oil, flour, peas and Bibles.
Svitlana, president of Heart to Heart Ministries, helped purchase and distribute the supplies in the Western part of the country. She said, “Thank you so much, Feeding the Nations, for caring and helping the Ukraine in this great time of need.” Svitlana visited several different locations, providing food and toys to the orphanages, and food and large-print Bibles for elderly homes. The new toys brought joy and many smiles from the children, the food brought much-needed nutrition, and the Bibles will continue to help spread the love of Christ to this nation.
