I see you trying to feed your baby, wondering where your next meal is coming from. Grandma, I see you. I see how hard you are working to provide for the children you are caring for. Auntie, I see you. I see how tired you are at the end of each day, tired in body and in spirit knowing that unless you get some help, tomorrow will be just another copy of today.
We see you. We see you trying your best to care for your little ones, to feed them, to clothe them, to education them, against insurmountable odds. Jesus sees you too. He sees your tears, he hears your desperate prayers, “Please God save my baby, please God let me find food today, please Jesus let there be work today. Please God send someone to help me.”
Jesus sees, Jesus knows, He is close to the brokenhearted. He loves you and so do we and we pledge to you that we will do all we can so show you His love.
“Every time you give to the poor you make a loan to the Lord. Don’t worry—you’ll be repaid in full for all the good you’ve done.”
Proverbs 19:17
