Feeding The Nations is once again partnering with Mission Outreach to bless the Riley Mother Baby Hospital in Eldoret with over 700 pounds of much needed Vitamin A. This hospital is also connected with 18 clinics located in rural areas of Kenya where the vitamins have been distributed. The new Mother and Baby hospital is is the first of its kind and accommodates up to 12,000 deliveries annually and has a 50 bed new born unit.
Zambia – February 2012 Update
On the 22nd of February FTN was able to ship 21 tons of rice/vegetable meals thanks to a Feed My Starving Children donation. It cost FTN $12,000 to move this food from Minnesota to Lusaka, Zambia but the value of the food inside is worth $65,000. This food is due in Zambia May 1st.
Malawi – February 2012 Update
February 6th: FTN would like to thank Feed My Starving Children for their recent donation of food for the children of Malawi. Today 42,322 pounds of rice/vegetable meals were shipped as we continue to help the desperate and needy children.
On February 4th our 40 ft. container arrived in Blantyre loaded with 42,322 pounds of rice/vegetable meals. The email we received from our missionary friend, David Morrison, the Director of Iris Africa stated, “Thanks so much for this wonderful gift; it comes at a perfect time.”
India – January 2012 Update
FTN received a great report from Mercy and Grace Ministries. They were able to purchase rice, milk and blankets for 200 orphan children with funds sent by Feeding The Nations.
Honduras – January 2012 Update
From January 11th through January 17th, FTN will ship a total of 544,000 rice/vegetable meals to Mission Lazarus in Choluteca, Honduras. These meals will be used in 4 schools and 3 feeding centers, around 1,000 children.
