March 20th: Another 40 foot container arrived at the base camp with 42,322 pounds of food. Many of the children helped off-load the large container of food into the storage facility. With thousands of children needing food this will be a great blessing. Thanks again Feed My Starving Children for helping make this possible.
United States – Missouri – February 2012 Update
Joyce Meyer Ministries, St. Louis Dream Center supports 37 different outreaches to people in need. FTN wanted to bless and provide the Dream Center with 25,000 pounds of assorted breakfast products or one full semi-truckload.
Nicaragua – February 2012 Update
February 28, 2012: FTN shipped 43,000 pounds of dried vegetable soup. This is enough to provide 850,000 meals. This soup was shipped from Califorinia to Jinotega, Nicaragua. Mission For Christ will give the food to 31 schools, and 24 congregation. This soup contains, beans, lentils, carrots, corn, peas, peppers, onions, potatoes and pasta.
Mexico – February 2012 Update
February 8, 2012: FTN provided Harvest Fellowship Ministries with 106,195 bottles of liquid vitamins valued at $300,000. The vitamins will enter Mexico near Matamoros, and be used to help the very needy in several planned outreaches.
Kenya – February 2012 Update
Feeding The Nations is once again partnering with Mission Outreach to bless the Riley Mother Baby Hospital in Eldoret with over 700 pounds of much needed Vitamin A. This hospital is also connected with 18 clinics located in rural areas of Kenya where the vitamins have been distributed. The new Mother and Baby hospital is is the first of its kind and accommodates up to 12,000 deliveries annually and has a 50 bed new born unit.
