On December 19, 2011, 35 pallets of MannaPack rice and vegetable meals left the Feed My Starving Children Warehouse by semi-truck for the Minneapolis/St. Paul Reserve Air Force Base. Feeding The Nations working with the Lamia Afghan Foundation will ship the 42,000 pounds of meals through the Untied States Air Force. These meals are now in Charleston AFB, South Carolina and the next stop by air will be Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. The distribution of this food will help 1,000 children and 300 adults living in caves and small villages in the area of Bamyan province. Feeding The Nations has supplied and provided the needy in Afghanistan with 886,000 meals in 2011.
Nicaragua – December 2011 Update
On December 16, 2011 Feeding The Nations will load 42,000 pounds of MannaPack rice, soy and vegetable meal packages for Way of the Cross Ministries to distribute in during their outreaches throughout Managua, Nicaragua. Last year Way of the Cross saw over 72,000 salvations in their outreaches.
Mexico – December 2011 Update
On December 8, 2011 Feeding The Nations loaded 42,000 pounds of dried peaches and nectarines to be distributed throughout very needy areas in Mexico through Rood International Ministries.
Zambia – December 2011 Update
On December 20th the 271,000 meals donated by Feed My Starving Children arrived in Lusaka, Zambia. The food was off-loaded into our warehouse and will provide a continued food supply to our 17 Christian orphanages and schools.
