May 31, 2012: Feeding The Nations worked with Hunger Plus to be able to ship one full semi-truck of food from southern CA to Yuma, AZ and then onward to Sonora, Mexico. The pastors in this region have expressed their gratitude and appreciation for all the food provided.
Zambia – May 2012 Update
May 2, 2012: Today FTN was able to ship 285,000 meals out of Richland, Mississippi to Lusaka, Zambia. This 40ft food container weighs 43,500 pounds (19,731 KG). This will help provide food for the 7,800 orphans in 18 different facilities where we try and provide two hot meals a day.
Haiti – May 2012 Update
May 3, 2012: FTN shipped out of California 21.25 tons of dried vegetable soup inside 116 large barrels. This food will produce over 800,000 bowls of soup and has a value of $107,000. Over 3,000 children in Port au Prince will be helped as we partner with Fishers of Men Ministries.
Honduras – April 2012 Update
On April 10th, FTN partnered with Feed My Starving Children and For His Kingdom Missions. Together we shipped over 21 tons of life-giving meal packs. Our ministry partner For His Kindgdom Mission will distribute 2/3 of the food to the poor living in the mountain region of La Montana de la Flor (300 children and 200 adults) and 1/3 will go to Iglesia Brigadas de Amor Cristiano child-care centers with (400 children).
Rwanda – April 2012 Update
On April 12th, Feeding The Nations shipped the 2nd 40 foot container of food loaded out of Maryland. The three refugee/displaced camps near and around Kigali will be receiving the food. We now have in transit to Rwanda 546,000 rice/vegetable meals (42.5 tons). Each year during the month of April, a memorial week is set aside to remember the nearly 1 million lives that were lost during the 100 Day Genocide 18 years ago.
