On March 29, 2011 FTN donated 26 pallets of vitamin supplements worth over $215,539  to Global Assist Network for distribution in Haiti.

Haitian Orphans Receive Food

The Good Samaritan Children’s Home in Trou du Nord, Haiti, is home for 103 orphans. With last year’s devastating earthquake, the recent surge in food prices and the increased number of children on the feeding program, this home has not been able to make ends meet and has struggled to feed the children. Recently, Feeding The Nations  provided over 6,000 meals to help ease this burden. The director, Wilbert Antoine, and the children were were so very grateful to receive the nutritious food and kept saying “Mesi anpil” (Thank you very much).

On January 25, 2011 FTN donated 28,512 rice/vegetable meals along with over $36,500 worth of vitamin supplements to Cross International for the Foundation Mains Ouvertes.

 On January 6, 2011 FTN loaded and shipped 270,864 rice/vegetable meals valued at $65,000 to Port au Prince. This food will be distributed by Fishers of Men Ministries International, as they feed 2,000 children each day. FTN has provided Fishers of Men Ministries 1,084,000 meals within the last 12 months.
